IPL (Permanent Hair Reduction)

Our therapists use the most up-to-date intense pulsed light (IPL) technology for long-term hair reduction. This treatment targets melanin, making IPL most effective for hair darker than your skin tone.

This course of treatment usually involves 6–12 monthly sessions followed by occasional maintenance treatments if required. The degree of hair loss and time taken to achieve results will vary on an individual basis.

An initial consultation and patch test are required to determine whether IPL will be suitable for you, as some skin types may be too dark for safe treatment. Preparation and post-care are discussed as part of your consultation to help you get the best results.

Electrolysis (Permanent Hair Removal)

Electrolysis targets individual hair follicles with an electric current, making this ideal for small, hormonally-influenced hair growth. Unlike IPL, electrolysis is suitable for most clients as it is not limited by hair or skin colour.

It requires weekly, fortnightly, or monthly sessions, and an initial consultation and patch test will ensure the right treatment is tailored for your goals — this may include a combination of electrolysis and IPL. Preparation and post-care are discussed as part of your consultation to help you get the best results.

While mild discomfort can be expected, our therapists will aim to provide you with the most comfortable treatment possible. This includes using sterile, disposable needles for each client.

Common treatment areas include the upper lip, chin, jawline, underarms, nipples, and bikini line.
